A little about me...

I'm a college graduate, working full time (sometimes more than full time) for about a year now. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison with a degree in Economics. Now I work for a company on a computer systems implementation project... go figure. I'm putting that degree to good use. :)

In my free time, I enjoy sports. I watch pretty much everything, but love the Badgers, Brewers, and Packers. I follow the Bucks, but watching basketball isn't really my thing. I also play a bunch of sports including volleyball, softball, and basketball. I'd love to get back into flag footbally, but haven't found the right group to get it going.

Other hobbies include filling up my TIVO with a bunch of TV shows, watching movies, singing and acting when I can.

I am always open to trying new things as well (i really want to try sky diving some day as well as learn to scuba dive.)

I also own a 5 year old cat named Tiger.

After years of not meeting expectations, especially by own, I've faced the problem and things have since greatly improved. Mind you, I can't make up for lost time and I'll never move to the top of my newly chosen field, but for the first time in my life I am working in a job that I actually like doing (and isn't minimum wage or secured through an employment agency).

Other than that, I unrepentantly love popular culture, especially its history with regard to comic books, theater and musical theater (and I'm secure enough in my masculinity to admit that), television, and movies. If I won the lottery tomorrow, I would retire to study and write on those topics. I also love video games and could easily devote four solid hours a day playing. That might seem extreme, but I tend to die a lot when playing and four hours of real time equates to maybe fifteen minutes of game time.

I am a fairly short guy (5'6") who was nicknamed "Dwarf" in high school because by my sophomore year I already had a full beard! I know youâ??re thinking yeah right but câ??mon, throw me a bone here! I am definitely the adventurous type. I like sports (the kind you participate in not watch) that include speed, balance, and maybe a little danger. Mountain biking at Petrified Springs Park in Kenosha and along Lake Michigan here in Racine is one of my favorites because I love tackling new obstacles and challenges. Iâ??m always looking for that new technical or stunt that pushes the envelope so if youâ??re in the medical field that might be helpful! Yes, I do tend to fall off sometimes but according to a friend of mine I fall like a ninja so I rarely suffer any injuries. Just to clarify I donâ??t do anything else that is ninja like except for falling according to that same friend. I also enjoy adventures outside of WI like ocean kayaking and hiking in different environments like Hawaii! I really want to try downhill snow skiing this year too. I think Iâ??ll be a natural because I can water-ski and I have even barefooted which is really intense!

I am what happens when you put techno and metal subcultures into a blender. I enjoy going to just about any live music especially local/small shows, just pick up a happenings on any given day and you can find the best entertainment. Pool halls are an amazing place to meet people and socialize. Going out for coffee and chatting is one of my favorite ways to get to know someone or just people watch. Window shopping and buying random stuff you didn't even go out for is always a good time.

I work on semis (big rigs) and it's a pretty fun career. It's a rewarding and challenging workplace and the best part is no day is ever the same. The summer is great working with shop doors open and metal playing.

I am not your average guy! I have passion which spreads me apart from the others like butter. I know most women want the typical "bad guy" that they can magically transform, but I am not that guy. Talents are a thing that a person can not have enough of, and I am avid at collecting talents. Sky Dive, Fencing, Scrapbooking, Comedy, Business Owner, Stock Collector, Marathon Runner, and Teacher are a few of my collected talents. I am a very shy person for many reasons, and this doesn't necessarily mean I am an introvert because I really like to be with people. Social things and looking at people interests me quite a bit. It's just I'm self-conscious and want to make a good impression because I care a lot about people (most of the time). I get so scared sometimes to show my real feelings, opinions and interest with people. It's a weird way I've been since middle school. It's always been easy to connect with people too talking about the nostalgia we shared like that sitcom we both laughed at and lived vicariously through. There's more to nostalgia than this probably, but I am sentimental about it and it's cool pop culture stuff.

My user name comes from parts of titles of two songs I love. Not just that, but one song basically used most of the other's fine qualities in melody and shifts. The songs are "Blown a Wish" by My Bloody Valentine and "Your Favorite Thing" by Sugar. I love music as a listener. I am not a musician, but I am trying to learn the guitar (at my own pace). These songs are great pop songs that use noise at the same time. I love pop that does this! They may be a little over the top romantically too, but I love the way they make me feel.

I'm a laid-back person in general, though I do take my responsibilities seriously. I'm a pretty honest person, with a good sense of humor (somewhat on the sarcastic side). I'm a pretty independent person.
I have a motorcycle and love to ride, winter is too dang long here. Just started riding last summer, but I love it.
I love snowboarding, though boarding around here does not have as much appeal to me as the mountains do, but I still enjoy it.
I am a mechanical engineer, and am still working on my degree. I have about 2 yrs left. It started out as a 50/50 school and work, but my career kinda took over and has made it hard to get back into it. I travel some so it makes it difficult. I've been to Germany 3 times in the last year and a half. I've been to Denver 3 times (I think) in that same period. It was all for work, though I did add some days to my trips to Denver to do some boarding. I'm looking for a long term relationship.

I'm a laid back kind of guy that likes to go places with friends and hang out with my family. People have described me as being a great guy that's loving and generous. I always try to be there to lend a hand when someone I know needs it.

My three kids are 19, 16, and 13. The oldest is living on her own, working full time, and going to college, and the others stay with me a few days a week. My kids mean a great deal to me, I look forward to seeing them every time. Their mother and I separated in '06 after 21 years together and divorced the following year.

I'm looking for a woman that can be honest even in the gravest situations. Communication is a big deal to me. We need to be able to talk about anything. If we can talk through the bad, good will come of it. Without communication trust is challenged.

Friendship comes first. I don't want to jump right into another relationship at the expense of staying out of the "friend zone." I'd rather be a friend that an ex-lover. Being lovers as friends would be a wonderful thing.

I like a girl that is confident in her appearance. I don't want to be asked if you look fat in something. If I'm attracted to you everything will look good on you.

Attraction is important and comes in forms other than just physical. Like mindedness also has bearing on attraction. Spending time doing things we both like can be great fun. Willingness to do things that only one of us likes is nice but unnecessary. A good relationship allows for personal space, understanding and TRUST.

I don't want to be with someone that is looking for me to take control of her life or depend on me to take care of her at all times. When you need my help, I'll be there. I'm also not looking for her to take care of me, I'm a big boy now, I think I can manage. I'm not saying that those kinds of efforts won't be well received or offered, they just shouldn't be expected. I don't believe in the phrase that says a relationship should be 50/50. If you ask me each partner is responsible for giving their own 100% to the relationship. 50/50 is divorce oriented.

My expectations are simple. Make time available to spend with me. A little one-on-one goes a long way, but being together with friends and family is good too.

I'm a outgoing person who's currently traveling the U.S. working on steel construction. I get 1-2 weeks off every month or two so I still have time to spend at home. Right now I'm working on finishing up college online. I enjoy outdoor activities and hanging out with friends.

I'm CC. I go to school right now and I work part-time, which is good and bad at the same time. I like hanging out with my dorky friends cause they are the awesome.

My friends tell me that I'm one of the most genuine and laid back guys they know. I'm lead vocalist for my band Burial Ritual, and it's my one true passion in life. I love getting up on stage and performing in front of people, it's a rush like no other! I'm also teaching myself how to play guitar, and it's coming along quite well. I've got one tattoo on my right arm and I'm looking to get more, not sure about piercings though.

Hello! I'm here to try this out to see if i can meet true nice people to make friends with..who knows, maybe it can turn into something more, with the right person.
